Vehicles & services

Which car brands do you work on?

Million Auto works on all car brands. Our service offering covers petrol vehicles and light commercial diesel vehicles, including routine servicing, diagnostics, repairs and maintenance.

Send your make, model, year, engine type and mileage when you enquire. That helps us discuss the particular work your vehicle needs. The brand banner identifies vehicle brands; it does not imply manufacturer approval or an authorised dealership relationship.

Do you service petrol and diesel vehicles?

Yes. We offer service, maintenance and repairs for petrol vehicles and light commercial diesel vehicles. Include the fuel type and model when contacting the workshop.

For a diesel enquiry, tell us whether the vehicle is a car, bakkie or light commercial van, along with any symptoms or upcoming service requirements. Specialist requirements and suitability for a particular job should be discussed directly with us.

What is the difference between a minor and a major service?

A minor service usually focuses on routine maintenance items due at a particular interval. A major service generally involves a broader set of scheduled checks or replacements. The exact items vary by make, model, engine and service schedule.

We offer both minor and major services. Ask us to confirm the proposed service scope for your vehicle, including the parts, fluids, checks and labour included in a quotation.

How do I know when my vehicle is due for a service?

Check your owner’s manual, service record and any service reminder displayed by your vehicle. The correct interval depends on the manufacturer’s guidance, elapsed time, mileage and operating conditions.

If you are unsure, send us your vehicle details, current mileage and the date or mileage of its last service. We can discuss an appropriate service enquiry without relying on a single interval for every vehicle.

Can I book regular maintenance even if nothing seems wrong?

Yes. Regular maintenance is part of our service offering. An enquiry can be made before a problem occurs, including when a scheduled service is approaching or you want to discuss maintenance items.

Let us know your vehicle’s mileage and service history. Describe any recent changes, even if they seem minor, and confirm the work and visit arrangements directly with the workshop.

Enquiries & bookings

What information should I send with my enquiry?

Please include your name, a contact number, the vehicle make, model and year, engine or fuel type, and current mileage. A previous service date or relevant repair history can also be helpful.

For a fault, explain what happens, when it began, whether it is constant or intermittent, and any warning lights. You do not need to send an identity document, payment details or unrelated personal information.

How does the WhatsApp enquiry form work?

The website form prepares a message using the details you enter. After checking the message, select Open WhatsApp and send it yourself from WhatsApp. The website does not send the message automatically.

Your form entries are not saved to a website database. The form gives you a message preview and a copy option so you can review the details or use another contact method.

Does sending an enquiry confirm my booking?

No. A website form or WhatsApp message starts a conversation with the workshop. It does not reserve a time slot, confirm that a job can be completed, or authorise repair work.

Please wait for direct confirmation of the visit, availability and any assessment arrangements. Contact us before travelling to the workshop.

Can you give me a service or repair price online?

Costs depend on the vehicle, the work needed, the parts and fluids involved, and whether an assessment is required. This website does not publish fixed prices or generate binding quotations.

Send the vehicle details and describe the work you want. Ask the workshop what can be quoted from that information, whether any diagnostic or assessment fee applies, and what the proposed quote includes.

Do you offer engine diagnostics for warning lights?

Yes. Engine diagnostics are part of our services. Tell us which warning light is showing and describe any change in starting, running or performance, together with when the issue began.

A warning light description alone is not a complete diagnosis. Ask us about assessment arrangements before visiting. If you suspect the vehicle is unsafe, avoid driving it and discuss suitable arrangements with the workshop.

Diagnostics & repairs

Can I enquire about a fault that only happens occasionally?

Yes. Intermittent concerns are worth describing as clearly as possible. Note whether the issue occurs on starting, after driving, in particular conditions or when using a specific vehicle function.

If you already have a safely obtained photo of a warning light or a record of when the problem happens, mention it in your enquiry. Do not operate a phone while driving or try to recreate an unsafe fault.

What minor electrical repairs can I ask about?

We offer minor electrical repairs. Describe the affected function or component and whether the problem happens all the time or only occasionally. Include the make, model and year of the vehicle.

For example, you can enquire about an electrical function that has stopped working, but the workshop must confirm the assessment and whether the particular job is within its scope. Specialist electrical work should be discussed before making arrangements.

Do you work on suspension and steering?

Yes. Suspension and steering are included in our maintenance and repair offering. Tell us about changes in handling, unusual noises, vibration or steering behaviour, and when you first noticed them.

A message cannot establish whether the vehicle is safe to drive. If handling or steering feels unsafe, avoid driving it and contact the workshop to discuss the next step.

Can I bring a vehicle with an incomplete service history?

You can make an enquiry even if the service history is incomplete. Tell us what you know about previous maintenance, any recent repairs, the current mileage and any concerns.

Bring or mention any service book, previous invoice or relevant record you do have. The work needed must be discussed for the vehicle’s actual condition; missing records do not establish what maintenance has already been completed.

How long will a service or repair take?

Timing depends on the vehicle, the work required, assessment findings, parts availability and workshop scheduling. We do not promise a fixed completion time through the website.

Discuss your preferred visit and any transport needs when you enquire. Confirm the expected time directly with the workshop, and check collection arrangements before setting off.

Planning your visit

Can I discuss parts and additional work before the job?

Yes. When discussing an enquiry or quote, ask about the proposed parts, fluids and work scope. If you have a specific preference or concern, raise it before agreeing to a job.

Also ask how any additional work or changed quotation will be discussed. Parts sourcing, customer supplied parts and approval arrangements need direct confirmation from the workshop.

What if my vehicle has a warranty or service plan?

Tell us about any warranty, maintenance plan or service plan when you enquire. Check the applicable conditions with the relevant provider before agreeing to work outside its arrangements.

Do not assume that a particular job is covered or that any warranty outcome is guaranteed. Request clarity on the service documentation, parts requirements and approvals relevant to your own vehicle and plan.

Can I enquire about a company vehicle or more than one vehicle?

Yes. You can contact us about a company vehicle or send details for more than one vehicle. The enquiry form includes an optional company field. Provide the details of each vehicle so the work can be discussed separately.

Availability, invoicing details and any ongoing maintenance arrangements must be confirmed directly. The website does not offer or activate a fleet contract or account automatically.
